The Financial Specialist will manage expenses for PPM and Confirel Operations, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with budgets, company policies, and local regulations in Cambodia. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can communicate effectively while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Expense Management: Review and verify expense reports, monitor budgets, and recommend cost-saving measures.
2. Documentation and Compliance: Keep complete records of expenses and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
3. Communication: Work with local teams to gather information and address expense-related questions.
4. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to spot trends and prepare reports for management.
5. Process Improvement: Identify and implement ways to enhance expense management processes.
6. Training and Support: Train employees on expense policies and help resolve related queries.
7. Collaboration: Work with finance, accounting, and operations teams to align on expense goals and collaborate with procurement to manage vendor relationships.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in expense control, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of local tax regulations in French-speaking African countries.
- Excellent communication skills in English (French is preferable but not necessarily required)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using financial software and tools.
