Geographical Indication — Kampot Pepper Geographical Indication — Cambodia

Kirum Marinated Green Pepper turns fresh Kampot green pepper into a ready-to-use table condiment, prepared with palm sugar, organic vinegar and Kampot sea salt. Use to bring a savoury pepper note to red meat, chicken, salads and everyday dishes.

Cambodian origin

Kampot Pepper

Kampot Pepper, Kampot Province

In southern Cambodia, Kampot Pepper grows where abundant tropical rain meets the naturally draining hills and foothills of Kampot and Kep. Farmers raise the soil, manage shade and harvest each berry according to ripeness, creating green, black, red and white expressions with distinctive citrus, floral, fruity, mint and lime notes. Confirel brings this protected terroir to market through its Kirum range, with careful selection, traceability and respect for the PGI tradition.

Kampot Pepper is protected through applicable Cambodian and European geographical-indication frameworks. Its registered origin and production requirements help preserve the product's identity and traceability.
