This GMS-BF Golden Award was presented to Dr. Hay Ly Eang, Confirel's founder and President of Investco Holding Co., Ltd — Confirel's parent company — by the United Nations, the Greater Mekong Subregion Business Forum and the Asian Development Bank, in recognition of his contribution to enhancing trade, investment and social development in the Greater Mekong Subregion. Presented at Sihanoukville on 20 November 2004.

Confirel won the Environmental Stewardship category at the Cambodian Corporate Citizenship Awards, presented by IFC's Mekong Private Sector Development Facility (IFC-MPDF) together with Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce, in February 2005.

Awarded by the France Foreign Trade Advisors in Cambodia in recognition of Confirel's global sustainable development policy: structuring sustainable agricultural sectors for palm sugar and Kampot pepper, promoting local know-how, environmental and social certifications, and commitment to the economic empowerment of rural Cambodian communities -- marking 15 years of effort at the time.

National-level honor from Cambodia's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for Confirel's leading role in modernising the country's prahok and seafood value chains, awarded alongside the CAPFISH-Capture fishery food safety management system certification.
