Three Teams Named Winners of the 2026 Thnot d'Or Award

Three finalist teams have now been selected for the 2026 Thnot d’Or Award, following this morning’s final round organized by the Kinal Foundation under the theme of innovative probiotic beverages developed from Cambodian local raw materials.
From nine finalist teams, TO-262, TO-265 and TO-266 have advanced as the three winners.
Their final ranking — first, second and third place — will remain undisclosed until 12 September 2026, when the results will be officially announced alongside the 2026 Kinal Award, during the 30th anniversary of PPM and the 25th anniversary of Confirel.
What stood out to me throughout the competition was not only the creativity of the ideas, but also the challenge of turning local agricultural resources into products that are scientifically credible, technically feasible and potentially scalable.
This is where innovation becomes meaningful: when an idea can move beyond the classroom and begin connecting research, Cambodian raw materials and real industrial application.
